History, Heroes, Murder and Mystery!
Charleston Legends and Lore Theatre is a one-of-a-
kind, unique, informative and fun experience that is
making a name for itself in the heart of Charleston’s
historic district. Just opened in May, the Theatre is
entirely animated using the same show control
equipment as Disney, Universal Studios and other
major attractions.
The show is twenty-five minutes long and is orated
by holographic characters that seemingly come
back from the dead that include the Pirate
Blackbeard, a Gullah woman and Confederate
Soldier to name a few. These characters and others
tell the story of Charleston’s dramatic and at times
tragic past all with stimulating lighting, sound and
effects in a fantastic production.
Charleston Legends & Lore is located at 161
Church Street one block south of Market Street and
across from Tommy Condon’s. The show is fun for
all ages and highly recommended. The Theatre also
houses a gift shop. The Owners guarantee a
haunting experience!
