Letter from the Publisher + Founder
Here we are in our favorite time of year in Charleston - spring! We just can’t get enough of the outdoor festivals and events, warm sunshine and colorful flowers and trees.
One of the main reasons visitors come to Charleston is for the area’s history and Southern charm. In this issue we give you our top picks for places to visit that provide some of the best information about Charleston’s history and a true look at Southern life in the 18th and 19th centuries. What are you favorite historic sites in Charleston? We’d love to hear your feedback via Twitter and Facebook.
A great new tool for Charleston visitors is our app. Available for free from both iTunes and the Google Play store, the app has information on places to visit, coupons, parking, events and much more. Check it out and let us know what you think!
Be sure to connect with us on Facebook (travelermag) and Twitter (@traveler_mag) and on Pinterest (travelermag) if you have questions during your visit and to share your photos and experiences.
