Get up-close to the newest addition, a rare albino alligator; watch as penguins dive and play in Penguin Planet, touch an Atlantic stingray in the Touch Tank or go behind-the-scenes in the state’s only Sea Turtle Hospital. Enjoy daily shows, educational programs, hands-on fun and much more for the whole family!

The SC Aquarium, Charleston's most visited attraction, is now home to four Magellanic penguins. This new interactive exhibit is open for a limited time and features both above and underwater views of the penguins. Get an up-close and personal look as they "fly" underwater, learn about penguin colonies and discover what makes these unique birds march.In addition to Penguin Planet, the Aquarium features over 6,000 animals from river otters and sharks to logger-head sea turtles in over 100 exhibits.  You can reach out and touch.  Atlantic Stingrays, sea urchins and horse-shoe-crabs in the brand new Touch Tank.
